I have been in the car alot lately. My car is in the shop, but my mom has been kind enough to allow my sister and I to drive her car. So I’ve been helping my sister out by picking up the kids from daycare and summer camp. Because of my extra car time I have had the chance to hear some really good music. One song that I really like is “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell. I was on YouTube the other day messing around and I decided to look up the video for the song.
I wasn’t expecting to see a bunch of topless girls on YouTube. The video featured all these girls who looked practically nude, dancing around topless in nude thongs. I couldn’t believe it. To top it off, in the background, on the wall was written this message, “Robin Thicke Has a Big Dick.” I was put off to say the least. A video should compliment the song, not completely distract from it. Am i right? Also the nudity didn’t seem to have anything to do with the song at all. It seemed completely out of place.
I’ve imbedded the video below. Let me know what you think of it in the comments.
